The Golden Globes have revealed their 2017 film winners, and while the nominations for in for the BAFTAs and Oscars, we’re yet to find out who scoops the gongs for these. So find out below which films are up for the cinematic awards…

Oscar Nominations 2017

The prestigious Oscar Academy Award nominations have just been announced, and the ceremony announcing the winners will take place on the 26th February.

Film of the year La La Land inevitably leads the way in the list of nominations, having been nominated for a huge 14 awards. Ryan Gosling will be vying for the statue for the Leading Actor category, while Emma Stone is nominated for Leading Actress. The film itself is also up for Costume Design, Original Score, and Production Design, among others. The heart-warming musical comedy has now officially become the most-nominated film of all time.

The Leading Actor category closely resembles that of the Golden Globe nominations, with Casey Affleck, for Manchester By The Sea, and Denzel Washington for Fences also up for the award alongside Ryan Gosling. Meanwhile, a host of fantastic actresses are up for the coveted prize of Leading
Actress, including Meryl Streep for Florence
Foster Jenkins
, and Natalie Portman for historical biopic Jackie. Meryl Streep’s nomination will be her 20th, and officially lands her the title of most nominated person in Oscars history.
