The new season collections are here! We've done the hard work for you with our edit of the hottest styles and most fabulous accessories around...
Classic Danish design keeps going from strength to strength. This season, darker walnut makes a comeback – and teamed with these charcoal gretdining chairs, it looks so classy! Geometric patterns are updated for wallpaper, and copper accessories are everywhere from furniture to lighting. If you only buy one thing this autumn, make it something copper.
Debenhams John Rocha dining table, £560 Graham & Brown Wonky boxes wallpaper by hemmingway £26.00 per roll Denby Fold cutlery, £50.00 LSA Velvet WIne glasses £70 for two Royal Doulton Foulard Star bowls £8 each
Black and white is a timeless combination and ideal for a living room. Choose a black or dark grey sofa as a base then go for a striking geometric wallpaper to make it really stand out. Add pops of colour – hot shades such as yellow and orange work well – and the latest wire accesories. Finish with some statement lighting – this triple-shade floor lamp is a stunner.
Cane furniture and bed linen with a hint of pink freshen up the French look this season. Add pleasted lampshades, mercurised glass and sumptuous silks and satins for extra elegance.
Purple is everywhere this season, but it’s not to everyones taste, so we’ve mixed it up with lilac for a softer feel. Baroque furnitutre is a key look too; check out this pattern from M&S which is part of it’s new Rochelle range. Texture is all important, and rich velvet is perfect for autumn’s soft furnishings. Add lightness with florals that have a botanical edge.
Warm wool checks and tartans on furnitutre and soft funishings are the basis for this homely scheme, while nature plays it’s part on the accessories. Wood is also a strong feature – don’t you just love this table with its on trend copper feet? Complete the luck with chunky knits.
