Make sure you take the turkey out of the fridge ahead of time so that it comes up to room temperature. Oven temperatures can vary so keep an eye on your turkey and use a meat thermometer to check when it's done - as long as it's over 72C, you're fine. Don't forget to rest your turkey for best results, so take it out of the oven when it's ready, cover it loosely with foil and set aside while you cook the trimmings.
Get ahead by preparing red cabbage and bread sauce the day before, then just reheat for Christmas dinner. Have a make ahead starter ready to go so it's one less thing to think about on the day.
Most of all, remember to relax and enjoy yourself! Have a glass of fizz all round.
