The Archbishop of Canterbury was enthroned
A slightly smaller ceremony than we saw in Rome a few weeks ago!
A congregation of two thousand people, including the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, filled the pews of Canterbury Cathedral on Thursday afternoon to watch Justin Welby's enthronment as the leader of the Church of England.
The new Archbishop of Canterbury's first sermon urged people not to turn their back on Christianity in the modern world. It's not the first time he's spoken about the difficulties the Anglican church faces. He admitted in a recent interview that he found the question of gay marriage 'a challenge'.
