From Anne Hathaway to Hugh Jackman, the A List cast of the new Les Miserables film took to the red carpet in London last night for the film's world premiere. Based on the long-running musical, the star-studded film version is directed by Tom Hooper, the man at the helm of Oscar-winning w&h favourite The King's Speech.

From Anne Hathaway to Hugh Jackman, the A List cast of the new Les Miserables film took to the red carpet in London last night for the film's world premiere. Based on the long-running musical, the star-studded film version is directed by Tom Hooper, the man at the helm of Oscar-winning w&h favourite The King's Speech.
Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, the epic musical is set in turbulent 19th century France. Its story follows ex-prisoner Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) as he evades ruthless policeman Javert (Russell Crowe) after breaking parole.
The blockbuster musical is in its 27th year of performance and has been seen by more than 60 million people in 42 countries around the world since it opened in London in 1985.
