November 8, 2012"Dancing is a fantastic exercise for so many different reasons," says A-list trainer James Duigan, who works with Elle Macpherson. "It works all your tiny muscles and pulls them in, which creates a longer-looking, leaner, toned shape - rather than, say, running, which primarily works the big leg muscles.
"Because of this, it leaves you toned all over, plus it's a great cardiovascular workout so you burn hundreds of calories at the same time and it's great for heart health. It also teaches you correct posture, which can take ten pounds and ten years off you if you dance regularly. Lastly, it's great fun and very de-stressing."
