    Daily Mail 2 Day Diet....

    Anybody starting this diet tomorrow?

I was thinking about it, (thats as far as I got) until I read more about it and realized that the rest of the week is also a diet of sorts.

It advises you to stick strictly to the two day diet - then to eat sensible Mediterranean type food the rest of week, including things such as brown rice, brown bread (and to stick to very small portions)
I don't know about you, but that's still a diet (in my books).

I mean, Where's the cakes, biscuits, crisps, chips etc etc?

I've kept the Food Diary close by, just in case I change my mind.

Was going to have a go, but take Warfarin and am supposed to keep my intake balanced. Think this might put tablets out of sync.

Yes, I saw this Mimosa. It's a bit like the fast diet but not as restrictive I think on the 'diet' days. It's healthy eating really isn't it. Not rocket science. Think I'll give it a try though. I'm much better if I have a planned menu otherwise I go off the rails.

Did, I think this diet is very low carb, so you are probably right not to attempt it.

I've just googled the 2 day diet. You have 2 pints of semi skimmed milk, 1 portion of fruit and 4 of veg for the 2 diet days. Plus 2 pints of other fluid. Still considering it.

Why do you call it a rag Aggie? I call the Sun a rag but didn't think the Daily Mail was - just interested?

    Hi

I haven't seen the daily mail diet, but it sounds rather like the alternate day fasting diet - Parick holford. You can eat up to 800 calories on alternate days, eat normally the other days, I fould it effective - lost over a stone. still a couple of stone to go though, I must get back onto it - got off track at Xmas and kind of lost the plot rather!
