I'm fully behind you on that one. It does matter. I wish there was more widely available information. And more choice too. I like to think my cosmetics have not been tested on bunnies' eyes, but I also want them to look and feel glam and not something out of a hippie market stall. If anyone knows of any brand like that, please do share xx

and of course a lot of household cleaners are simple to make with a few basic components, just google!
My inferiority complexes aren't as good as yours.
Thanks for that link Chilla. I have bookmarked it. It is good to make informed choices.

A very good idea. And for those companies who Still insist on testing on animals, perhaps if they see themselves exposed in this way, and thereby losing customers, might stop doing it !
Thank you so much, Chilla. It did worry me that lots of companies claimed that their "finished" products don't use animal testing, but what about their ingredients/suppliers? I only like the ones that stated both, and I'm going to be a lot more selective from now on.
Can't beat bicarb of soda, salt crystals, distilled white vinegar, lemon juice for LOADS of things. You're also avoiding all those horrible VOCs [volatile organic compounds] that don't do our health or atmosphere any good at all.

Not to mention Parabens VL...so many people have allergic reactions not to mention the real possibility of a connection between the rise of breast cancer and the parabens in underarm deodorants..I use a crystal and have made sure my daughters do too..lemon juice is also a well known anti bacterial agent..as I grow them in my garden guess what I use Genib
