PORTMEIRION - NORTH WALES

I have always wanted to visit the Portmeirion Village in North Walles. I have finally persuaded my OH to take a few days there at the end of the month. I have booked a room at Castell Deudraeth, & was wondering if anyone else has been there recently & what they thought of it. What were the best points of it, and was it very crowded? I'm afraid that I may be disappointed, a nd find that it is perhaps an expensive "theme park"
