W&H grumbles, how about...
      20/01/2009 10:55

I have been reading 'back' posts and a lot of us seem to agree that W&H does not cater for the average lady, either in fashion or make up prices etc.Or in makeovers of the older girls.

What do you think about perhaps once a month they run a budget issue, with cheaper ideas, clothes range etc.? Even through to the recipes and decorating themes. I appreciate they can't suddenly abandon their ethos and marketing plans but could they include a new format once a month? There are loads of ideas out there, they need only look to the forum!

It may be [as someone said] that they do get kickbacks for featuring top of the range stuff. I also think there is something to be said for the escapism, 'if only' stuff to give us a boost or a dream to chase. Good clothes DO feel gorgeous, and the cut and fabric can make a huge difference to how it looks on a not so hot body. Maybe they could help with advice such as, if you buy a good pair of trousers you can economise on tshirts. To be fair I think they DO do a slot where you can 'get the look'for less - or is that just for the shapes we are?

What do you think girls?
