I know the feeling! My OH went to Iraq a couple of years ago to assist with setting up and training the Iraqi police force. I was worried sick but he thoroughly enjoyed himself. He was armed and thoroughly thrilled when there was any kind of incident. can't say I felt the same. You have to appreciate that your adopted son is probably doing something he enjoys and the hairier the better!! Fingers crossed and thoughts with his family
