I'm back....a few interesting ideas there but I need to hold the book in my hand and read the first page or so to see if the writing style grabs me.
Did you see the Kate Greenaway Medal page? Our librarian at school, (my pal) has organised through the art class (Me and another pal) for the children to sign their names against the style of illustration that they like the best. Those that have signed against the eventual winner will get a small prize.
I chose one particular book but then after seeing one of the others in Borders, changed my mind. The pictures were beautiful...see: Little Boat. The cover pic doesn't do the inner work justice!
