How funny, we came back from Lake Garda last week.
Depending on what you're looking for, we stayed in a place called Bardolina and loved it.
You can walk into Garda, about a 40 minute stroll, although we thought it a bit too busy and noisy.
You can catch the boats to various places, or a bus.
Bardolina is very clean, and lots of bars and restaurants and little shops, but no night clubs, which was fine by us.

What sort of place are you looking for - and is it a couple, family?
