I am looking for ideas for first week in September - all our holidays over the past 30 years have been in the UK - must be near Steam Trains! I have been to North York Moors, Severn Valley, North Wales, Mid Wales etc etc etc..... I need something that will appeal to hubby so that he does not spend the whole time moaning - I would like somewhere that I don't end up carrying all the photography gear, raincoats etc. I would like to go to a place with nice food, scenery and reasonable weather - it is September after all. Maybe I won't need to take loads of books to pass the time. Not big cities - maybe the coast or something like that - not too posh - hubby doesn't like 'dressing up' I have about £750 to spend any ideas ladies?
