I've had the same one for about 5 years and recently left it in the bathroom window (it's been on the side of the bath for years) for a day and it's wilted completely with the leaves going yellow overnight. All I've done is throw an handful of water into it every few days when I'm in the shower and when I remember feed it. I don't think they need much care but when you first get them they are usually in full flower and if I remember rightly they dropped from mine within a few weeks but there were more buds on the way.
