Hi Jade

I am reading 'Moby Dick' - a classic I never got round to reading before. It's an odd read but I am enjoying it. Melville is a bit like Dickens in that he has quite a funny way of describing things but there is a lot of scientific info about whaling in the 19th Century and it is a bit gory! I'm also reading a book about coding in the 2nd world war - it's my work book, I keep it there and read it at lunchtimes. I've just finished 'When Will There Be Good News' by Kate Atkinson. I couldn't put it down,it was AMAZING!. I haven't read any of her books since 'Behind The Scenes at the Museum' which I loved, but I hated her second, 'Human Croquet' then gave up on her. However, after this last one I'm going to go back and read some more of hers that I have missed.

Good luck with your book club. Whereabout are you in W Sussex? I am in Horsham.

Sha
