Every ounce feels good, doesn't it!? Do you take your measurements, too? I find that, for me, they vary much more frequently than does my weight. You asked - how people are getting on with whatever diet they follow. I can't sing loudly enough the praises of "India and Nerys' Idiot-proof Diet", which I started, gently, last August. Since then, my levels of normal activity have dropped enormously, as I've had surgery and been on crutches; nevertheless, I've lost a stone - yes, that's fourteen pounds - and it's staying off. I know this eating plan doesn't work for everyone, but it's the only thing, EVER, that has worked for me. I think it's a miracle. Now I wonder - since I am eating a lot of protein, including cheese and eggs, more than previously, is this having a negative effect on my hitherto excellent levels of cholesterol - and do I want to have it checked, anyway, or would I rather not know? Any opinions, anyone, on (a) the eating plan and/or (b) protein and cholesterol?
