My mum is currently trying Viviscal , I think she has been taking it about 2 months now and her hair does look better, although she is says it is difficult to tell if it is any thicker, she is continuing to take the pills though . She did go to the doctor first and have tests for thyroid etc. I have to add that she is 76 so her hair thining is likely due to her age , when she was younger she had fantastic thick hair ( unfortunately I have not inherited that! ) so she is particularly conscious of it becoming thinner.
