After my weight gain over Christmas I was full of enthusiasm and determined to get active, I went out and bought a pedometer. Make day one a normal day and see how many steps you do, said the instructions. 5000 steps is a sedendary person. Aim for 10000 - 16000 steps a day. OK, I know I bought it at about 11am and I had been walking around before clipping it to my belt, but OMG when I took it off last night I had only done 930 steps! Thats not sedendary that's being horizontal! So today I am determined to get walking. Does anyone else use one of these?
