Hi Elsie I am in the process of having an implant too. It is at the side though. I had the implant put in several months ago and touch wood no problems. I am due to go for the tooth fitting next week and would you believe it I think I am starting a cold!!! First one this winter too.
What was the problem with the implant? Before anything was done I had a series of X rays to check the bone density of my jaw to ensure the post would be ok. Very expensive about £2000 in all, but I have paid in stages as the work is done so it wasn't one big payment!
I truly hope all goes well with you. Teeth are such a problem! Foxie
