Take heart,for I am finishing my cards as well,after all,one must keep house,mustn't one. lol
So,laundry on first,then write, address,stamp and post cards
It is the last day for posting 2nd class today,so make the cards a priority,then after posting,pick up tree,presuming it is real,cut off bottom half to three-quarters off an inch,stand in bucket of water in garage. Get decorations down,clean bathrooms,as per daily twiddle,sort out dining room,put up decorations,and finaly pour out glass of wine and sit down with DH,who of course will help you to wrap presents.
Job done. 
Leave tree until tomorrow if standing in water.
Off soon to join Chickadee and Mayday for a pre-Christmas Lunch.
