abcd, it's what the orthopaedic consultant called valgus deformity of the knees, which I think is a polite way of saying that I've been knock-kneed all my life, but no-one noticed and now the joints are knackered...awaiting double arthroscopy and then whatever next steps are needed. I just have to be careful not to let the joints get too inflamed because then I can't walk at all...
Perhaps I could copy mjm and bounce instead... travel about on a big space hopper! (now that would be a sight!)
