My OH is the football liaison police officer for Charlton FC down here in London. As such he has alot to do with intelligence on people who follow various teams and he does all the organising for policing every home match. Firstly these scum are NOT football fans. They actually plan to create as much mayhem, chaos and damage as possible and many of them do not even come to watch the game.....
I am so sorry this has happened to your lovely city. They are total thugs who should not in anyway be associated with the game of football. I hope that your police up there are now pouring over CCTV footage and can bring some of these animals to justice...
