Good morning girls, its beautiful here again today, I will be going for my walk once Ive chatted to you.
It was great reading everyones feed back yesterday, it really does feel like we are changing our ways doesnt it.
It seems that our biggest challenge is eating ssssssllllllooooowwwwwwwwllllllllyyyyyyyyy, so has enyone got any tips and suggestions for us, have anyone mastered this art??
Anyway back to emotional eating,
Do you think you are an emotional eater?
Ask yourself what you are feeling right now?, Take 10 seconds or so to scan your body from head down to your tummy, what ever sensation you notice stay with it for at least 10 seconds.
Have you noticed if your sensation is beggining to change?
When you allow yourself to feel your feelings in your body instead of cutting them off straight away, or trying to cover them with food, those felling sensations will begin to change.
Before you start to snack, ask yourself if you are really hungry, if you are not, then DONT eat, you are more likely to be bored or upset, lonely perhaps, It doesnt matter how much you eat, the feelings will still be there, so food is not the answer.
