Login name
This is your key identity - it cannot be changed. You need to use this name to log into your account.
Login names must be between 3 and 16 characters alphanumeric (made up of numbers and letters with no spaces) only. If you want to split a name use an underscore (_) or hyphen (-) character.
Display Name
This is can be the same as your Login name, or you can choose a different name. This is the name that everyone can see on the forums.
Display names must be between 3 and 30 characters alphanumeric (made up of numbers and letters with no spaces) only. If you want to split a name use an underscore (_) or hyphen (-) character.
To request a new Display Name go to My Home -- Personal Information, enter your chosen name in the Display Name field at the top of the page and then click Submit at the foot of the page. Your request will be considered by an administrator or moderator, usually within 24 hours.
Username
Where you see reference to Username on the forums this is the same as Display Name.
