Christmas 09
      #491028 - 22/10/2009 09:17

First can I say how much I enjoy w&h magazine, but I am really disappointed with the December issue.

I know it's Christmas, I expect Christmas stuff in it, but there was barely anything that wasn't Christmas related in it! For those of us who don't bother with Christmas really, there wasn't that much of interest in it, a bit of non-Xmas features would have been nice.

Oh well, roll on January!

I would like to add that Im very disappointed not to receive a W&H Diary this year and I know alot of other ladies are too.

Its become a tradition.........any particular reason for this absence?

Missing my diary already. Not too sure about all the Christmas stuff - as they say - not like the good old days. I also think they come out way too early each month. This is the December issue and not out of October yet. I know they have to do things early but I think this is a bit too early. Surely mid-Nov would do for Dec and so on.

Hi Ladies,
Have to agree with you on this one, I too was disappointed that there was no diary as I use mine every year to the full. Normally when my W&H comes through the post I save it to bedtime to read but got half way through looking at it last night and gave up. Christmas overload, its only October and we have'nt even had halloween yet.

I have to agree that I enjoy and look forward to receiving my magazine every month, but why do we have to have Delia Smith EVERY Christmas!

We'll be reading about January New Year 2010 before Christmas 2009 has happened!

What a relieft to read of others disappointment in the Dec issue, available mid Oct!! Just bought my copy for ideas and low and behold found it unstimulating to say the least and especially the cookery section and free Delia pamphlet... Oh well, roll on new year.

I've put my December issue away until nearer Christmas. I'm another one who is disappointed about there being no diary for 2010.

I am with many of you on this and feel it madness we have the December issue out already, full of the Christmas lark and in October at that
How do I know I hear some say and knowing I am stuck at home and on rest these last 9 weeks with a bad back?!
Well a friend kindly brought me a copy thinking it would be something for me to enjoy and to read!

I feel just like Splash says here above.
I to have had W&H magazine on subscription for a few years and now as it has run out, a few months back now, I feel no wish to, or need to, renew it.
