Is there a book club in the North East?
      #48708 - 12/01/2008 17:13

Wondering if there is a book club near to me....I live in Northumberland, not so far from Newcastle etc? Been off work sick for quite some time and though due to go back soon it would be nice to keep up the habit of reading that I've acquired in my spare time!

Cat,

I don't think there is one here in the North East yet, but there are plenty "forumers" now in this part of the world, so it might be worth setting one up. Perhaps a topic for the next two supper club meetings?

Fiona

most of the libraries have book clubs, and they supply the books free! I belong to one in Newcastle
