I've just seen the following on Yahoo News
"Firefighters and ambulances were called to the Bank of America branch in Fort Worth, Texas, fearing a carbon monoxide leak after two staff members reported feeling sick and dizzy.
A total of 12 people were taken to hospital while 22 others made their own way there and a further 110 were treated at the scene as the bank's management broadcast an alert to nearly 2,000 staff warning them to leave the building if they felt ill.
But it then emerged that rather than a gas leak the reason for the chaos was down to a simple squirt of perfume, the brand of which has not been revealed."
I can think of some colleagues I've had who spray so much perfume they could easily have done this.
Any thoughts on what the perfume might be? My guess is that it was Poison which I find completely overpowering.

My sister once bought me Poison for Christmas. We had partaken of the Christmas spirit on Christmas Eve and got up early the next morning. After we opened gifts I sprayed myself liberally with perfume and then accompanied my father to church. When we got there we found that the heat was on full blast as it was a frosty morning and I sat there with the fumes from Poison wafting around me. I thought I was going to pass out. I never wore it again and can't abide the smell of it ever since.

Elizabeth Arden Blue Grass would be my choice - it always makes me feel really ill when I smell it.

That is hilarious.
I had a bottle of Poison given to me (many years ago), the pure perfume and it certainly was heady stuff. Wish I still had it now.....or someone who might buy again for me!

Love opium... lots of perfumes dont smell much on me (?) but Poison and Youth Dew ..wow..so strong cant stand them, worked with a girl who almost bathed in Youth Dew, used to make me feel quite sick.
Also love the smell of Blue Grass, my mum used to wear that, unfortunately it doesnt smell at all on me.
