Can anyone remember eating junket as a child think it was called Miss Muffett, I wonder if you can still buy it?

I used to love it & have made it now and again when I can get hold of some rennet.

I think, from vague memory, that mum used to make it with warmed milk and some strawberry or raspberry milkshake syrup to flavour and then add the rennet.

Not sure if you can still buy rennet but it used to be sold over the pharmacy counter.

I had to google as I didn't know what junket was! It looks like you can still buy it in the US, though I doubt they would be able to ship it here and there were a couple of recipees for it. It doesn't look like anything I'll be trying anytime soon though!

Apparently, you can buy rennet in Waitrose. I think its called Vege-Ren. I'm off to have a look next time I am shopping!

You can't possible remember Miss Muffet Junket, Shoelover, but I can. It was a pale pink colour and wobbled, though I think you could get different flavours.
