Emma Brown by Clare Boylyn
From the first page:- "Come into my parlour.........judge for yourself........we shall go together " I was instantly drawn to the fireside and totally entranced by the storyteller!! This is a very moving story. Parts of it are set in London , where poverty for young girls often led to an early death or them being corrupted into a life of sin! Emma is one such girl. Clare Boylyn has done a fantastic job of writng this story which Charlotte began. The fact that she shares the same initials as Charlotte and the same birthday sent a tingle down my spine. This is a must read for any Charlotte Bronte fans. Billie
