Obese patients are to be paid to lose weight in a new Pound-for-Pound NHS scheme. The pilot project starts in September and will see 100 volunteers invited to take part. If successful, it could be rolled out across the UK.

LOL GBW, I was just wondering if people have to give the money back if they put the weight back on again!! 
I think it's a daft idea!

I think it is daft too!
Money for losing weight and more money for giving up the cigarettes....thought we were in the middle of financial difficulties.....cuts for schools cuts for NHS.....who is coming up with these daft ideas!
