Good Morning Summer, and Everyone,
Well, the sun has not got its hat on here today, in fact its not even in view, methinks rain is on the menu today.
Just had a nice breakfast, and we are about to take a look at the papers, and then its a walk with Cavvie to the Reservoir, and a reasonably quiet day today.
Must say with all the rain we had last night here, the garden is looking really pretty, I have a hanging basket with strawberries in, before we went away, there was meybe, five or six, when we came back yesterday, there are about 12, and they are so sweet and succulent.

Good morning girls
I was about to brag that we had sunshine, but it's all gone now, typical !!!
Ex and D are coming back in time for the tennis, so she and I will have seats booked in front of the tele, then I will cook a roast for us all before she goes home again,
Nothing else planned, just pootling ,
Enjoy your day,

Morning all
I too put one load of washing out cos it was sunny.........now its all black and cloudy - yet there is no mention of rain on any of the weather forecasts Ive checked.........typical!!!
So guess all my washing will be drying indoors today. Just lazing about today - done housework already, so enjoying the day.

Have a lovely day everyone

Hi Olisa,
That comment to Amelica, was totally tongue in cheek, sorry to mislead you, hate ironing, and not even for her would I volunteer my services ha ha. Am I a bad friend? Oh! yes, you bet I am, especially where the ironing board and that steel object are concerned.
We have a glimmer of sunshine at the moment, Im not getting too excited though, but it was a glimmer.

Afternoon ladies......Were do you do your ironing...? I do mine in my box/dressing room......its so handy there.....it over looks the front of the house so I can look at the goings and comings of people.....which is where I am going to go to now....just a few items.....but I do like it when the ironing basket is clear...... Warm and sunny all doors, windows open.....Sunday lunch/dinner cooking......having lamb to day.....what are you having....? Busy yesterday....sewing hems on my daughters new curtains....that was a job and a half.....but she's worth it.....
Hope all your day is peaceful calm and happy...

Hi kafferlily - I usually do my ironing in the lounge so that I can watch some tele at the same time - nothing too interesting or I scorch the clothes and iron my hand Sunday lunch today is roast beef. I have Sunday lunch cooked and on the plates by mid day including one for MIL. OH then takes his and hers with him to warm up and goes to her house to look after her while her live in carer has a 5 hour break. I sit and eat mine on my own I could go with him but I do my turn to look after her on a Friday and don't really want to go again.

I am ironing at the moment Kafferlily! Just taking a lunch break to catch up with the forum. I iron upstairs in the spare bedroom, really easy to just put everything as I do it, I hate having a pile of ironing to put away at the end!
