so pleased with myself.....
      #416074 - 03/07/2009 12:41

I finally faced my fears and went to visit my work colleagues yesterday - they haven't seen me since seizures/stroke and I was bit apprehensive as to how they would react but it was great, really enjoyed catchin up on all the goss and relieved to realise that once initial 'how are you's were out of the way, I was able to relax and even went for lunch with them so the really good news is that pending doc's assessment on 21st july, i can go bac to work 22nd I won't be able to work regular hours at first nor can I fulfill all parts of my job but hey, it's at start.... just have to find trousers that hide clumpy shoes (they're necessary cos i still drag my foot) and find a little niche to hide my stick while I'm there..... life is getting good again

i'm so pleased for you , its nice to get back to normal when you have been off work
i went back to work about 5 weeks ago after having a hysterectomy and chemotherapy and at the moment half way through radiotherapy . you will get very tired trying to do everything but i think it a good tiredness as i'm starting to sleep better

good luck

xx

GCA, I am so pleased for you, how wonderful!! I bet the people at your work were so delighted to see you after the rotten time you have had, they would have been so worried!! Getting back to fairly normal pattern will do you a world of good. However, dont do too much, too soon!! Well done you!! June xx
