Feel like a drowned rat!
      #415743 - 02/07/2009 17:46

Hi all!

There was a beautiful blue sky and the sun was shining and the awnings were out. Then all of a sudden it all went black and the rain started bucketing down and the wind was whipping it around. Well, I had to go out in it to get the awnings in as they were rapidly filling up with water and after a long battle with the wind and rain managed eventually to get them in. But I was absolutely drenched from head to toe and am still trying to dry out!! feel as though I've just got out of the swimming pool!
And the sun is still shining in Wimbledon!

Here in Oxfordshire it's just sweltering. The thought of being wet from head to toe is quite appealing!
