My Beautiful Carlo has gone.
      #415697 - 02/07/2009 16:30

Just wanted to tell you all who have given me so much support over the last week, that my lovely boy has gone.

There was nothing more the vets could do for him, they had tried everything and were so good, but he just wouldn't eat, and was so thin. I think he wanted to fight on even to the end, but his body was failing. The vet put him to sleep this morning and it is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. We all loved him so much, there will never be another cat like him. We are just heart broken to be honest, especially as this should never have happened.

Thank from the bottom of my heart for all your support, it has helped me so much.

Lisa. x

Dear Lisa
So sorry to hear your news as he did seem to be getting better.Know how you feel as we lost our treasured cat- George a couple of years ago. We've now got new cats a brother and sister duo who we love to bits but they are very different personalities from George. It is such a shame about your Carlo. I hope you'll feel better soon and can think of happy times spent with him.
Love Pat

Oh Lisa, my heart cries out for you and your OH, plus of course your D. I knew how much Carlo meant to you all.

Take heart that you have such beautiful memories of him, and he will always be close.

Much love to you all.

Hi Lisa

I am so sorry about Carlo. There is nothing worse than losing a pet. I have lost several over the years and each time it has broken my heart.

My sympathies are with you and your OH and of course your other lovely cat.

Hello Lisa, so sorry to hear about your cat Carlo, animals become so special to us 'part of the family' you will have plenty of funny memories of him that in time will bring a smile to your face when all of a sudden you will picture him doing this and that and chuckle to yourself.

Sorry to hear about that, Lisa - after everything he and you have been through. At least the poor little mite is at peace now.
My thoughts are with you at this sad time. x

Oh I am so very sorry to hear this extremely sad and upsetting news about your beloved cat Lisa. I know how much your animals mean to you - I too have three cats and know exactly how you must feel...

Lisa,
I'm so very sorry.
Now is the time to feel heartbroken, but in time you will feel glad that you gave Carlo such a loving home, and no cat can ask for more than that.
Just think, you could have had any cat, and you were lucky enough to have Carlo, and he you.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We lost our beloved dog a few years ago and we still talk about him constantly and all the mischief he got up to - it helps us cope.

Love and a huge hugs from me xxxxxxxxxxxx

Lisa................... I am so sorry for your loss. I sincerely hope those people who were supposed to be looking after him for you get well and truly prosecuted.

I bet your other cat will miss him as much as you.

Take care............thimble
