DAY 171: Are the dimples in your bum no longer cute??
      #415610 - 02/07/2009 11:52

Is you bum now resembling cottage cheese - not so much pert as hanging there trying to reach your knees.

Well ladies, I have just heard that the best exercise for this problem area is walking across the room on it...

So come on sit on the floor, hold your legs up with your hands behind your knees and walk to the window and back - left cheek, right cheek, left cheek.......

Not as easy as it was when we were ten is it? Did you fall over? Did the postman see? Has the cat left the room?

Do wear clothes - we don't want to be explaining carpet burns do we!!!!

Hi Gilley,
I remember doing this with my mum and sister when I was about 12. We had a record that we put on the gramophone (that's what we called it then) which was a series of exercises. I can't remember the name of the woman who did it but she must have been good to keep us interested without any visuals.
I remember my dad looking at us as if we were completely mad, but we worked out to that record for a few months, I would say.
Anyway, I will be interested to try it again later today. My only worry is that we have cheap, American, nylon carpets that shed terribly and give electric shocks at the best of times. May have to try it on the hardwood floors

I can remember doing this exercise to Gaynor ? and the song Band of Gold several decades ago. I thought my hips at 34 inches were too big (!)

Hi bloss
You probably wore your trousers a lot tighter in those days too! I know that I did.

Hi everyone,
my dimples are definitely not cute and need a lot of work.
Have a look at this page:
www.americanchronicle.com/articles/13257

I had a root canal filling today, with my mouth open for an hour.
It's not been too bad so far but am prepared for some pain later tonight.
Walked at a brisk pace to get to the appointment on time so did two 10 minute walks although I was slower on the way back, well it was uphill!!!
Cecilia
