DAY 449...........DO ONE THING..............
      #412910 - 25/06/2009 11:01

TODAY THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL PROUD OF YOURSELF.....

One small thing that will make you feel like your back in control of your food...

Yesterday evening I nipped into Morrisons just to pick up some coffee, and because it was nearly closing time, there was a whole shelf full of reduced bakery items, I couldnt resist putting 2 boxes of fresh donuts that were reduced to 5p......OMG I thought I had gone to heaven......

But the difference yesterday, was that I wasnt buying them for myself to pig on...I had bought them for my OH to take to work and share amoungst the boys......

I was REALLY proud of myself..

One small step to getting back in control.....yay....!!

What have you done that has made you really proud of yourself...???

Well done Mjm - that was great - and it feels good to be back in control doesn't it.

I'm proud of how far I walked yesterday - about 14000 steps. Normally I struggle to get up to 4000... mind you I'm very tired today and my poor arthritic feet are complaining! But instead of eating (which is what I tend to do when tired) I'm going to have a nap...now!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning ladies.............. just a quick post.

After my decision to leave FF as PMK was just not working for me I have to tell you that I have lost 2lbs since Monday!!!!

For me the only thing that works is calorie counting. Since starting this on Monday I am amazed at how HUGE my portions were getting. Having to weigh and count things I can now see where I have been going wrong. I have been very vigilant and good and am proud of myself for getting on track.

Even though it has been another 2 nights of hardly any sleep with OH I am still manging to keep my brain on the right road. Tiredness and me don't go together and that is when I usually comfort eat.......................

Just thought I would share this with you as you have all been so encouraging and supportive to me.

Does my bum, Barney and I have completed a walk around ruins of the city walls, map says 2.5 miles but pedometer only says 5760 steps, it was very historical or should I say Hysterical (hehehehe)

JJ do you mean Durham City?
Today I met a friend at a garden centre which sells lovely cakes.I looked at them when ordering coffee ,thought about having cake too, then decided I really didn't want to eat it because I wasn't hungry and didn't need it to make me feel good.
I bought some ornamental grass instead, for my garden, not to eat LOl
