      #405660 - 10/06/2009 20:25

quite near where we live there are mud baths ,so today the SF and I went and covered ourselves in mud from head to toe it was wonderful, we let it dry and then wade into the lake and wash it off , it feels fantastic my skin is so soft now like a babies , and it was great fun , went for a paella for lunch and then on to the beach for a swim and a read ,home now showered and relaxed .I am going to do it every week wonderful

Sounds good.................... my OH is often saying I look like a rhino so I should feel right at home!!!! hahahahahaha

They are always saying how good mud baths are for the skin. A question.............. Did it make you feel dirty though whilst you were in it?

There's a really black muddy puddle in our local park that my dog likes to roll in, not sure it would do anything for my skin.

Your mud is probably full of minerals while ours would be full of germs.
Sounds very relaxing

Spanishlady
It sounds wonderful
Had one in Turkey many years ago,mud bakes in the hot sun and when it hardens and falls off, skin is so deliciously smooth....I love those pampering treatments,so cheap abroad,so expensive at home

I've had my hair washed in mud by a bunch of 10-year-olds at the end of a school's outdoor activity holiday ( the instructor's suggestion! ) They enjoyed it...

Your experience sounds fab; no wonder you want to go back

Was this at Lo Pagan?
Do you need to wear an old cossie or is it easy to wash the mud off?
Must have a go next time I'm over although probably one bath 3 or 4 times a year won't be enough!!
