Dorking/Reigate Supper Club - Next Get-Together.
      #403652 - 07/06/2009 18:17

Hi Everyone,

First of all we have a new name! I thought we would add the "Reigate" bit, as we seem to be meeting up a lot in Reigate as well as Dorking, as that seems to work for a lot of us.

Anyway, quite a few people have said that they would like us to have a Saturday lunch meet, and I know there are some ladies who live further afield, who would like to come and join us too, for whom a Saturday is better. I'm proposing three possible dates, so could you all let me know which dates you can make, and then we can take it from there. I thought we would meet up somewhere in Reigate again, as the shops are quite nice if anyone fancies a browse before or after lunch.

Here are the possible dates:-

Saturday 4th, Saturday 11th or Saturday 25th July.

Please could you post on here or PM me the date/s that you can do, and then we will go the the date that suits most people. New members, and ladies from other supper clubs are more than welcome to join us.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone. Lisa. xxx

Oh dear, Lisa, must have rather a sad life, I think I can make all those dates! Although, if we ever get round to booking a holiday, we might be away on the 25th - so perhaps the first two dates for me.

Can I just say, if anyone new is thinking of coming along - the Dorking/Reigate group is the nicest, friendliest group around (OK, the Guildford group is too!), so you would have a great time if you joined us.

Hi Lisa

Sounds good re Reigate Saturday aft as the shops looked good on Friday evening!!!!

4 July - I am away so can't do that
11 July - sounds good
25 July - the Guildford ladies are holding a get together in Guildford that day so some ladies may not be able to attend if they go along to both groups.

So 11 July is the only day for me.

Thanks for organising so quickly.

Sally (SalR)

Ooops, Sally, thanks for reminding me! Another reason why I can't make the 25th! So 11th is probably best for me too.

Hi Ladies
Your group sounds very friendly and I would like to come along for the first time. Afraid I cannot make the 11th. Could I come to your next meeting?

Hi NorfolkBroad, SalR, Lisianthus and Becs. Looks like the 11th will be the best Saturday, I hope all the rest of the gang can make that day too...fingers crossed!

Anne, what a shame that you can't do the 11th, I really hope that you can come to the next one after that, we have such a lovely, friendly group of ladies. I replied to your PM by the way a few days ago, (just click on the little flashing envelope on the top left.) Sorry for the delay in replying, I thought I had replied, then realised I hadn't! Lisa. x

Hiya
It was great to meet everybody on Friday - thank you for a great evening. Hope I didnt come across as too loud as I had a little drinkie before I left home for dutch courage. And as I dont drink that much that often, I felt the effects quite quickly. :-)

I am very much looking forward to the next event and would love to meet up on a Saturday. I personally cannot make the 4th, but can make either of the other two dates.

In the meantime if anyone is in Reigate during the week and is stuck for something to do, I would love a change from my normal lunchtime routines.

Regards

Yvonne

Sorry I can't make the 11th either as I have to go to a company function that evening and need to be on my best behaviour which I cannot guarantee after a Dorking / Reigate lunch - have fun those who are going !

Hi Lisa,

Sorry I will be away on 11th and I missed the last evening meal too. Hope you all have fun and that I will see you either on a walk or for supper again soon.

Pauline
