Lichfield book club
      #401763 - 03/06/2009 22:13

Is anyone interested in a Lichfield book club or is there one nearby I could join? Has been on my wish list for ages so hope there are some like minded ladies out there.

Hi,

Im looking to join a book club to- I live in Swadlincote which isnt too much of a trek. It could be set up to meet in the middle of the two places if more people are interested? We wont have many different inputs if there are only two of us!

What types of books are you interested in? i will read almost anything!

Hi Jenin
Sure it would be fine to meet up in the middle. I like lots of different books too. Jodie Picoult is a favourite. I also read lots of murder mysteries. Perhaps we can encourage a few others. I have a friend who might join.

Cia and Jenin,

Count me in for the book club, I love to read, and it would be another way of meeting other like minded ladies.

Please keep me in the loop wont you?

Shall we decide on a book to read ? Then when we meet up we can discuss it and how we want the club to work.

Cia,
I think Staffordshire/Derbyshire book club might be a better title as "Lichfield" is very restrictive. That way you might get a larger group.

I've just seen this thread - I read anything to do with Lichfield as it's as near to Sutton Coldfield that I think I shall get! I love reading too and would be interested in joining, even if I have to travel further than Lichfield.

Any suggestions for a meeting date and place?

Laura

Hi pinkie
I think we will probably meet in Burton or nearby. Would be great if you could come. Should we read the book first or have a welcoming meeting to begin. Any one interested please get in touch. Pat
