Hi Biker_Babe,
Spangle and I had a really enjoyable day not so long ago in Selfridges in Birmingham, and they were launching this fragrance, we had a lovely hand and arm massage, and totally agree with you, isnt it lovely?

I have now tried three Jo Malone fragrances and don't like any of them...am I just trying the wrong ones, or are they all a bit heavy and herby?
I've tried the mandarin, basil and something, the lime and something, and the pomegranite noir.

I've never been lucky enough to own a Jo Malone perfume, but my daughter has the Lime, Mandarin & Basil body lotion and I sometimes use it (shh don't tell her!).
It really is a lovely scent and lasts all day....don't need to wear perfume when I use it.

Hi BB, haven't tried that one yet - sounds lovely. I have the Lime, Mandarin and Basil - OH bought it for my birthday. Also had a small bottle of Pomegranite Noir, which has all gone now. I wasn't too sure of it at first as it smelt quite strong but grew to love it and wouldn't mind some more. I do find Jo Malones perfumes to be quite strong at first but they do tend to mellow quite quickly

Try the Grapefruit. It's gorgeous.Doesn't smell anything like grapefruit. Once the citrusy tones fade it's lush. It's not as in your face as the Lime Basil and Mandarin.

Like kate1, I find some of the Jo Malone perfumes a bit heavy, and some are quite "masculine". However I love her Nectarine Blossom and Honey, and also Red Roses. I had the bath soaps in the former for Christmas and my first thought was "Hmmm, soap", but I love them. I'm thinking of asking for the body lotion for my birthday.

I dont like the 'masculine' ones either but the White Jasmine and Mint is lovely. Gem 17, if you go on Jo Malone website you can ask for samples, thats what I have done. Now I will need to find my local stockist to try to get some. Kate1, my normal perfumes are Issey or Chanel no. 5. This one is a bit more woody but I really like it.

I wear French Lime Blossom for daytime in summer which is a lovely fresh floral, and Nutmeg & Ginger for daytime in winter which is lovely and spicy. For evenings I wear either Grapefruit which smells divine or Vintage Gardenia which is a warm floral. Best of all, they can all be mixed to make different scents! Absolutely addicted to Jo Malone - even got my boyfriend wearing it!

Totally agree Biker_Babe. When I wear it, it just reminds me of summer holidays in the sun, even on grey days.
