Maidstone Book Club
      #396351 - 22/05/2009 21:39

Thanks to Vinca's organisation we had a very enjoyable meeting of the Maidstone Book Club yesterday evening - we discussed the book we had read (a book I would never have chosen for myself but which I couldn't put down once I started) and then had a drink and a friendly chit chat. To anyone thinking of joining I would say do come along it's a very friendly informal evening and it will broaden your reading horizons very pleasantly and you will make new friends. Once again thanks Vinca.

Hi Olisa

I'll second that, the evening was great as always, and thanks to Vinca for her organisation. Apart from reading and enjoying books I wouldn't normally choose, the company and being with such lovely friendly people is great.

Hi Ginette,

I have sent you a private message (pm) about the Book Club. If you look under your forum name at the top of the page, you will see a little flashing envelope. Click on that, and it will take you to your message box.

I hope you can come along!
