Is There a Club Around Kenilworth, Leamington or Warwick?
      #387320 - 08/05/2009 14:44

Hi there, I've just joined up ~ the first forum I've ever joined! I'm looking to get walking around the Central Warwickshire area ~ specifically Kenilworth, Leamington or Warwick ~ to build up fitness levels and to socalise. Anybody out there? Look forward to hearing from you. JoJoGo

I'm trying to find one too, around Stratford, Warwick or Leamington.
I am also new to the forum and need to get more active so that I can reach my target weight quicker!

Hi

Banbury is close to Stratford and a neighbour of Warwick. Any where local to all and a starting point for a walking club for the unfit ,but full of good intentions !!!!

Hi all

How about meeting at Compton Verney on Tues 26 may09 at 10:30 for coffee and give birth to OUR Walking group and see where this takes us.?

Left to my own devices ,I never get around to anything and this is my first step in being pro-active. However need to discuss this over coffee.Looking forward to meeting new people and nice walks. First practice can be around the Lake at Compton Verney.

Sorry but its half term next week and I can't make May 26 at Compton Verney. I'd be interested in future dates though. Enjoy! JoJoGo

Just starting to think about other things to do, did the walking club get off (or was that on?) the ground?

Hi All

I have just joined the forum and would like to do walking in Warwick and any surrounding areas to get myself a bit fitter. I would like to bring my small (but lively) spaniel along sometimes and even my equally unfit other half. I'm not sure from the postings whether Compton Verney happened but is anyone interested in setting a date and venue in September?

Sue R
