Foundation
      #375187 - 17/04/2009 17:44

I am so loving the new foundation from Clinique called "Even Better"
It is not too expensive, just under £20 and it feels and looks lovely.and apparently it is good for your skin.
Has anyone else found a foundation recently that they absoloutely love and feel goes that extra mile?
Tanya

Lucky you, I have been on a desperate search for several month sand cannot find one that doesnt make someone my age - a woman of uncertain age! - look shiny because I still basically have greasy skin.
So many of them are packed ful of shine.
then you have to find the right colour as well- seems to be a hard task because under shop lights it all looks different and when I take a trial pot home the colour is often wrong.
Anyone got any ideas?
Help!

As usual I would recommend Bare Escentials. I find it great on my very sensitive skin.

I got a sample of the "Even Better" foundation and loved it so much I bought it. It feels different on your skin, and it's really worth going to the Clinique counter and getting them to put some on.

Don't wear it every day, I usually wear Clinique tinted moisturiser, which I love.

I have just brought clarins foundation true comfort and its lovely, really suits my sensitive skin, also there new igloss - its a lipgloss that is clear, but the colour comes through depending on the pigments on your lips, and once the gloss has gone the colour stays, its amazing, and very moistersring, a real must have product.

Ooooo Bq, I saw that lip gloss the other day when I bought some more cleanser - would you recommend it? I like the Clarins True Comfort foundation as well, but have recently tried Elizabeth Arden's Mineral Powder Foundation. Still making my mind up about it...

i had a sample of the Even Better foundation too. I really didn't like it so I'm sticking with my normal one, also by Clinique but a moisturising formula - can't remember the name.

After reading the posts on here, i went and bought the Clinique 'Even Better' foundation and I really like it. I have a shade which suits my skin perfectly and believe it or not I think i look younger since i started using it!

Maybe thats just wishful thinking but hey!

Another enthusiast here for the Clarins lip gloss which adapts to the colour of your lips. Great product - as with so many of Clarins. And the good thing is that, if you look out for gift with purchase promotions, you get really generous-sized smaller versions of some of their best products (plus, usually, a make-up bag/ wash bag, some of which have been quite useful). I've acquired a lot of tubes of their excellent Super Restorative Day and Night creams this way.

I've also bought the Even Better foundation and love it. I find foundation hard to wear and have made lots of bad purchases but this is very nice.

My other favourite 'day and weekend' foundation is a No 7 Intelligent Colour which only comes in light, medium and dark and adapts on the skin. Lovely sheer texture for summer x

What a lot of information about foundation.I've been using a cheapie from Tescos but it is running out. As I need all the help I can get in the looking younger dept I shall definitely give the Clinique a try. Thanks everyone.

My favorite foundation is the Savila foundation from Coonobabe. It's the best for my oily skin. They also offer non-oily foundation as well. I also recommend their happy endings foundation. They ship for free anywhere in the world. Can't beat that. Coonobabe

Ha !! I was going to start a new topic on foundation but I'll piggy back on this one. I have worn Max Factor Creme Puff for years but now ,in my mid 50's, I realise that my skin looks flat and dull. So off to the Clinique Counter to try the one you recommend. Is it for us more mature ladeees???

I recently tried tanya67's foundation recommendation from Clinique and really had a positive experience with it. She's right in that it goes on easily and feels great. Thanks for the recommendation!
