Sorry to disappoint. I think we are all shattered. It was a wonderful holiday. Lots of walking, lots of talking, lots of eating, lots of drinking, lots of laughing. No different from one of our walks at home really. We now have a new nickname though from a fellow walker - the lunch bunch

Oh that sounds fantastic Emptynest ....are we going next year!!
I like that The Lunch Bunch....funnily the Ladies who meet in Bluewater are calling themselfs the Loo ettes as I think Loo organises a lot of their Meets....so the Welsh Girls are now The Lunch Bunch!!!
Glad you enjoyed I am just back from a week end in Bluestone in Pembrokeshire it was great. It would be a good centre out of season for a week end ...plenty of great walks and a fantastic Spa on site....what you think??

We all definitely want to go with Ramblers again next year but I think we will choose carefully next time and go for a 4 star hotel and make sure it is a bit warmer.

Bluestone sounds great - can't wait. Will send you the link to my photos of Sicily.

Hi emptynest
Welcome home and I'm delighted to hear you had such a good time - the pictures are lovely but it does look very challenging, I'm sure I couldn't have kept the pace up much as I'd like to! However with a bit of intense training..maybe next year

Glad you had a lovely trip to Bluestone too Splash and I agree it sounds lovely for a weekend!
