BATH SUPPER ON 4TH MARCH - JAMIE OLIVER'S
      #334602 - 12/02/2009 17:32

Hello Everyone

As previously mentioned I have been looking around 'on line' for a suitable central Bath venue. There are numerous Italian/Bistro eateries, but I'm a little unsure, for various reasons, if they would be suitable (without first trying and I don't think I will have enough time or money!). So, I have decided that perhaps we should try the new Jamie Oliver Italian restaurant in Milsom street (some of you have mentioned this before). The only slight problem is that you can only book for a 8-10 party, otherwise we would have to wait for a suitable table, but apparently they will look after you whilst you wait - I don't think that will be a big problem especially on a Wednesday.

You can view the menu etc on www.jamieoliver.com/italian/bath
10 Milsom Place (just off Milsom Street). Best place for parking is either Broad Street or Podium car park.

So far a possible 8 have said yes - sorry to ask again but could you please confirm by Thurs 19th Feb that you are still interested so that a table can be booked for say 7.15 ?. If I am unable to book because of the small numbers we will have to take a chance - hope you don't mind - we can arrange to meet outside of his restaurant which I believe is under cover.

Hope all this makes sense!!

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Lynda x

Hi Lynda

Count me in - I've been waiting to try the restaurant for some time now!

I shall probably park in Broad Street (again).

See you on the 4th.

Deborah

Count me in but only if you can manage slightly later for the table - it's a struggle for me to get home from work and into Bath for 7:30 so 7:15 is a bit too early I'm afraid.

PS is it a similar price to the other restaurants we've visited?

Hi

Yes I should be okay to come and would be happy to share a lift thanks. When we went we had to wait outside for a while (probably because it had just opened) but then they let us sit inside in the bar area to have a drink whilst waiting for a table. If you can book a party table, even better!

Chris

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to say that I will try to book for Jamies restaurant on the 4th and, in view of ChrissiFi's request for a later time, will ask for 7.45 - 8pm. Prices are similar to other restaurants we have tried (probably ok to combine from the menu - quite a few pasta dishes - as you would expect!) . Will post later with confirmation.

Hoping to hear from Letty, Lesley and Suzanna for confirmation.

Bye for now

Lynda
