Walking in Altrincham
      #331242 - 08/02/2009 13:25

I am a young lady who has just started reading woman and home and would be interested in a walking club in the sale/altrincham area. Can anybody help?

Have been reading W & H for a while but am new to forums. I live in Altrincham area and would be interested in a walking group in the area.

Hi newly wed. I am a newcomer myself but I have a friend who lives in Sale and is a member of a walking club. Try contacting outdoor girl. Good luck.

Hi Newlywed & LittleOne

Take a look at my walking group (and social group!) Outdoor Girls as we are based in Altrincham/Sale in the main part
We walk once a month but we also have LOTS of social events too - you don;t have to commit to anything you can just pick and choose
Our next walk is 22nd Feb at Marbury Park & Anderton Boat Lift (there are around 50 Outdoor Girls already joining in this walk) It will be around 5-6 miles of easy walking.
We also have a few events coming up over the next month including.....
Curry-Oke (Curry & Karaoke), a social 'pub' night, a visit to a local farm, a bike ride, a cookery lesson, Horse Riding for beginners, Latin Dancing & a Disco Fever Night!!
Take a look at the website www.outdoorgirls.moonfruit.com & ask if you have any questions
Claire

PS Thank you Bondgirl007 for the mention!
