Tina Turner article
      #326112 - 02/02/2009 19:47

I loved this article, Tina is such a trooper, a true professional. She looks fantastic too. I would love to see her live....will have to check the ticket prices and availability...any one else inspired to see one of her shows?

Hi GroovyMama,
I would love to see tina Turner but her tickets are sooooo expensive!! I looked on the net and they vary from £125.00 to £250.00. On top of that you have travel expenses.

Hi SassyGranni,
You lucky thing!! I priced tickets at the O2 and they were £125-250.00. Did you manage to get the tickets any cheaper?

Good grief! Does she not know there is a recession!! Guess she's topping up her pension fund!

Im going to the Manchester Evening News arena 31st March, we paid £75.00 for lower tier seats but with the extras its just over £80.00, very dear i know but hopefully will be worth it.

love Tina Turner particularly like the fact that she has survived and succeeded despite serious problems. always admire women who have done that.
i am off to see her in march at the o2 and staying in london as part of a package.
yes i know there is a recession on but this is my fiftieth year and milestones need to be celebrated!
never thought i would see Tina in my 5oth year and am telling everyone that she has come out of retirement especially for me!
an inspiration for those of us who are getting older that there is fun and adventure to be had in the future! fab!!
