DAY 298 - Combining Paul with pasta!
      #315255 - 23/01/2009 05:56

How to combine Paul with pasta............

This is an old joke, but as it is Friday I thought we needed a light hearted post.

Two friends meet up and one says to the other you look wonderful, you've lost so much weight, how have you done it?

The first friend replies, it's easy I've been following the pasta diet. You just walk pasta da the bakers, pasta da sweet shop, pasta da the takeaway..........

So for today, let's remember the word "pasta" and walk "pasta" our trigger foods.

Have a great day everyone - dark, wet, windy and cold down here.
Take care
Foxie

Hi Foxie and everyone
LOL! I'm going to walk pasta the open box of Quality Street in our office! Actually I walk pasta it most days, but was really tempted this morning. Resisted though!!!

Went to a wine tasting evening yesterday. My OH provided the food which was lovely - and healthy, veg soup followed by moussaka with salad and boiled new potatoes. Only drank the equivalent of about 3 glasses of wine, if that, but my head's pounding today. I'm eating some piping hot veggie soup now, so I'm sure I'll feel better soon.

Looking forward to the weekend, it's OH'S birthday and I think my D is making him a Sachertorte - yummy! Oh - and we're going to pick up our "new" car, can't wait!!

Have a good day everyone!

Hi Everyone
What a wonderful response to my post. I can imagine the word 'pasta' on everyone's lips as they walk 'pasta'!!

It certainly sounds like we are all stepping up our step count. mjm, AllyL and everyone else who has to walk past goodies at work this comes from the heart. Today there was Irish liqueur chocolates, mini M&S rocky road and mini M&S yogurt clusters on offer, plus cream cakes from someone's birthday!!!!

Foxie x.

Great post Foxie. I often feel I miss the best of the day with you all because I don't get on til late. I have been walking pasta lots of goodies today too, am babysitting tonight and know I will have to walk pasta the lovely tray of goodies my sister-in-law always leaves for me. But I am finding it easier and easier, a daily dose of pmk is certainly helping, the days when I cant get time for the cd I have used my pmk journal and read even a few pages of the book

Foxie, you have made my day! Good advice and pertinent as usual.

Tonight I'm going to walk pasta the post box on my way to the wine bar. I don't think I'm doing this quite right, am I ? But it is the weekend and I've been workng really hard, and avoiding strong drink all week, so I need to have a medicinal glass of wine to keep my heart healthy.

Yes, Thimble, but your head will be pounding in the morning. I hope you're drinking a glss of water in between every glass of wine. That way you'll also be doing lots of steps as you dash to and from the loo!

god you are so practical sella_vee...........it isn't my head I am worried about tomorrow but all the ribbing I will have to deal with..........I know I am saying and behaving ina very drunk and stupid manner so tomorrow I am going to take some stick...........I just know it............. but for now ............... sod the water I will just chase one glass of wine with.............yes another..........as for the extra steps.

Well I take 4 steps forward to the loo and 3 back but get there eventually..........so I think this counts doesn't it.........
