I haven't worn eye shadow since my teens and have recently started wearing it again - think it makes me look younger! I've got blonde hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. Any suggestions of best colours to wear? Thanks

Soft greys, lilacs and greyish browns look nice on most skin types. Why not go and have a day around the cosmetic halls in the department stores and see what freebie suggestions you get? Try the Bobbie Brown counter, or Prescriptives or also the Body Shop ..
The assistants are desperate to sell anything so will fawn over you no end and you will get some really good ideas.

I was just browsing the YSL counter in my local department store, and the lady offered me a 'make-over'. It was lovely, I felt so pampered and learned a lot about how to apply new products and which colours suited me. She used different methods of applying eyeshadow which were new to me and I learned about applying foundation, which I have only just started using. There was no pressure to buuy the products (tho' I did!) and I had a lovely time. All in all well worth it!
